Resources

Being diagnosed, and living with, food allergies, food intolerances, and special diets can be hard. We’ve assembled resources for you to help you on your journey. If there’s ever something we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will be adding resources to this page regularly in the coming weeks. Have a resource you want to share, send us an email at hello [at] allergyexpedition.com

Tips for the newly diagnosed:
If you are severely allergic, know about cross contamination. Although some companies disclose if their product is made in a shared facility/line, food producers are not required to disclose that on product labels in the United States. Allergy friendly companies are more likely to disclose this on the package. However, always call if you are unsure. Speak with customer service, and ask, “Has this product been made on shared equipment with or in a shared facility with (insert allergen)?”
